From Annecy to the Far North – Presentation
As you know, at Ozio, nothing gives us more pleasure than to receive testimonials from our customers! We love hearing about your sporting adventures and getting your feedback on our technical clothing. Today, zoom on a couple of cyclists, Camille and Quentin. They are embarking on an extraordinary challenge that will take them from Annecy to the Far North! Leaving on April 1...
Presentation of Camille and Quentin
Camille and Quentin are from Annecy. This couple of very complementary teachers (he teaches maths, she French!) met in the corridors of their college. Very quickly, they get closer, and find in common their passion for the mountains and their shared love of the great outdoors and outdoor sports: skiing, hiking, paragliding, and of course, cycling!
In this year 2023, the couple is launching a big challenge: going on an adventure, heading north! On the program, the crossing of 9 countries over more than 10 km and for more than five months! Departing from Annecy, they will go through the Vosges, Benelux, Germany, to end up in Scandinavia... 🚴♀️ Objective: Norway!
A trip that promises to be memorable, both for the beauty of the landscapes and the physical and sporting effort it requires. Their watchwords? Sharing and freedom! The course can thus be adapted according to their desires. The idea is to take advantage of the spaces and lands they will discover, spending time in each region, with a return to simple things and a reconnection with oneself and with nature.
A sporting trip that promises to be exciting and exotic. This is why we would like to tell you about their adventure here! And on the equipment side?
Regarding their equipment, Camille and Quentin leave with their two Sauvage Le Routard bikes, gravel bikes equipped with 35mm tires. Quentin has a dynamo, which will allow a little more autonomy to charge electrical devices. The bikes are equipped with extensions for more comfort. We will learn more about the equipment used throughout their journey…
For technical clothing, our two cyclists will be dressed 100% in Ozio, from head to toe! For the winter version, with the Baselayer FAHRENHEIT in merino, the long-sleeved jersey ABSTRACT and the jackets GIVEN THAT et ELEMENTS, but also tights DIVA et Gran Fondo and the gloves Roubaix. When the temperatures rise, they will opt for a lighter outfit with the undershirt POLY, windproof jackets AUTAN et GIVEN THAT, shorts DIVA et TITAN, the mitts TEAM and our jerseys CONSTELLATION et LEADER!
